UNIQUE BADGE REELS

A number of unique badge reels have been created with special features, styling or enhanced durability compared to the standard economy badge reels. Some of these features include a carabiner style wire gate, lanyard attachment slot, reinforced steel cord, and extra large surface for a custom imprint. Besides from their unique features and styling, they all share similarities to the more common economy badge reels: spring housing, retractable cord, clothing and id holder attachment hardware. Lanyard badge reels
Lanyard badge reels are similar in design to economy reels with the added feature of a slot at the top for attaching flat neck lanyard material. The width of the material that’s fits the opening is typically 3/8” or 5/8”.  Lanyards can be blank for custom printed (ie. with a business or school name and/or logo). Lanyard badge reels are available blank or custom.

Carabiner badge reels
Carabiner badge reels feature a snappy wire gate at the top for attaching to straps and loops. The center of these badge reels is either solid or translucent plastic with a cool chrome frame around the outside. Carabiner badge reels are very stylish and relatively new to the market. Carabiner style badge reels are available blank or with a custom imprint on one or both sides.

Heavy duty badge reels
Heavy duty badge reels are larger than economy badge reels and are typically made from metal or a combination of metal and plastic. They feature a durable belt clip on back and a reinforced nylon or steel retractable cord. The steel cord can be in the form of “twisted” wire or small chain links. Heavy duty badge reels are perfect for carrying large amounts of keys or other objects such as small tools. Heavy duty badge reels are available blank or custom printed.

Silver metal badge reels
Silver or "chrome" badge reels are one of the smallest badge reels available. These small gems feature an alligator clip on the back. This style clip is spring loaded and opens like jaws when pressed. Chrome button reels have a reinforced nylon cord with either a vinyl strap or snaphook for attaching id cards and keys. This style reel is also available in brass although not as popular as chrome. Chrome button reels are available blank or customized.

Logo reels
Logo reels feature a 157% larger imprint area than economy badge reels and extra long retractable cords. Logo reels also have a small ring at the top for attaching to a neck lanyard. A belt clip is also provided for sliding onto a belt or waist line. For people interested in enhanced visibility of their custom imprinted name, logo or message, logo badge reels are the way to go.
